The State of California has awarded a statewide contract for digital copiers to Sharp Electronics Corporation. This new contract awarded under the California Strategic Sourcing Initative is expected to save the State more than $25 million, or about 40 % of what was previously paid for comparable equipment. It includes standards for timely service and copier performance, along with warranty and service/maintenance agreements designed to obtain the lowest total cost of ownership. There is no need to implement time consuming and expensive bid processes to acquire multifunction products. The work has been done for you.
